6 Fun ways to dye Easter eggs with kids

I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things to do around Easter time is color eggs. I’ve loved it since I was a kid. And now that I’m a mama I still get to enjoy it and watching my littles enjoy it. For the past couple of years we’ve done it different each year and will try a new way this year. This year I like the idea of using markers and plastic bags to color them. In the past we’ve done it the traditional cups of dye, very messy! We’ve don’t it with shaving cream and food coloring. Also very messy and the dye isn’t very bold. And last year we painted them and then used a sticker set. Which I’m sure was my kids favorite. And it was the least messiest.. aside from the paint. Here’s our batch of decorated eggs from last year. The one in the middle was my youngest and he colored it with baby food since he wasn’t quite one yet. Here is the marker style I plan to have them try this year.
